Callejonear es caminar por las calles y los callejones de la ciudad de Guanajuato, es una costumbre que se volvió tradición en época reciente con las estudiantinas.
Son el atractivo de los visitantes gracias al personaje llamado "Tuno" que entrega su alegría y buen humor, transportando a un mundo de magia y asombro bajo el marco esplendoroso de la ciudad, a través de su música romántica, jovial y picaresca.
Estudiantinas. A fines de 1962 un grupo de entusiastas jóvenes descubrió la música de estudiantinas, de origen español, y se organizó para cantarla. En poco tiempo, con el apoyo de las autoridades universitarias se formó la Estudiantina de la Universidad de Guanajuato, la cual debutó el 13 de abril de 1963.
A la fecha, Guanajuato cuenta con un gran número de estudiantinas para actuar en callejoneadas, audiciones y serenatas.

Callejoneadas -Strolling Guanajuato's narrow, winding streets.
Walking through the narrow, winding streets of Guanajuato is something that has become a tradition in recent times, with the advent of the estudiantinas, Guanajuato's strolling minstrel groups.
A popular tourist attraction, the estudiantina owes its popularity to a character named "Tuno", who creates a world of magic and surprise through romantic, jolly and picaresque music, full of his good spirit, with the city providing a magnificent backdrop.
Estudiantina. Student minstrel groups: La Estudiantina At the end of 1962, a group of enthusiastic young people discovered the music of the Spanish student minstrels, called the "estudiantina", and they got together to sing it. Not long after, with the support of university authorities, the Estudiantina of the University of Guanajuato was formed, debuting on April 13, 1963.
Today, Guanajuato has quite a few student minstrel groups which give performances strolling through the city's narrow streets, and in concerts and serenades.

En 1962, un groupe de jeunes gens enthousiastes, a découvert la musique des estudiantines, d'origine espagnol, et s'est organisé pour la chanter. Dans très peu de temps et avec l'appuie des autorités universitaires, il ont constitué l'Estudiantine de l'Université de Guanajuato. Son début a été le 13 avril 1963.
Maintenant, Guanajuato a une grande variété d'estudiantines qui font les callejoneadas , les sérénades et des auditions.
